After graduating from culinary school and working at several cafes and restaurants, EAT & ART TARO started his own catering services for galleries and museums. He has planned and delivered many food-themed projects such as “Ogori Cafe”, a unique concept of a cafe where customers must treat others, “island soup” at the Setonaikai region serving various soups made from locally-sourced island ingredients, and “retro-cooking” to recreate traditional old recipes. Specifically in the Echigo-Tsumari region, he has presented “The Cucumber Show” and produced the Echigo-Tsumari Kamigo Clove Theatre restaurant.
