FC Echigo-Tsumari, which originated from the “Echigo-Tsumari Art Field,” was founded in 2015 and is a club that works hand in hand with the local community under the concept of “bringing smiles to the faces of grandpas and grandmas.”As employees of the NPO Echigo-Tsumari Satoyama Collaborative Organization, they play soccer while managing the “Echigo-Tsumari Art Field” and maintaining the terraced Rice Fields—which face a shortage of workers due to depopulation and an aging population—through the “Matsudai Terraced Rice Field Bank.” This is a pioneering project that is virtually unparalleled nationwide.

FC Echigo-Tsumari Official Uniform Sale
TSDO, the design practice of prominent graphic designer Taku Satoh, has designed two versions of the FC Echigo-Tsumari uniform. The white one, for home games, represents snow and rice, whereas the dark green one, for away games, symbolises the abundant nature of satoyama. Rice leaves are the supporters while the eleven ears of rice shining on the chest connote players on the football field. Let’s put on this uniform and support FC Echigo-Tsumari!
