A performance restaurant where local villagers serve you home-made meals cooked with seasonal Tsunan-grown ingredients while performing a theatrical piece.This year’s special menu is inspired by an essay called “Hokuestu Seppu”, written in the Edo period about life in this snowy region.

Museum on Echigo-Tsumari, MonET special exhibition"The answer is blowin' in the wind"

In the summer of 2025, a special exhibition directed by BankART1929 will be held in the corridor of MonET. Centered around the courtyard pond, the space will be transformed into a harmonious orchestra-like environment through artworks that produce sound and others that sway gently in the wind. Workshops by participating artists are also planned.

Echigo-Matsudai Satoyama Shokudo New Rice Fair 2025

The menu features around 20 different dishes, mainly made with newly harvested rice from the rice terraces right in front of the restaurant, as well as side dishes and soups that enhance the flavor of the rice. **Please note that the prices during the New Rice Buffet period will be different from the regular buffet.
