The artist conducts research on the region, focusing on preserved foods—a craft that is becoming increasingly rare—and presents an exhibition exploring seasonal connections and diversity centered on daily life and livelihoods.
On weekends and national holidays, visitors can enjoy an irori (hearth) experience inside the museum, which includes tasting preserved foods featured in the exhibition.

Born in Miyagi Prefecture in 1989, currently living in Yamagata Prefecture. An artist who creates works based on themes of questions that arise in relation to places. Based on on-site experiences, literature research, and oral history, he explores the relationship between place and people, and expresses this through paintings, essays, animations, and more.
