A spring workshop series led by the artists behind the permanent collection at the Museum on Echigo-Tsumari, MonET. By getting hands-on with the artists while exploring the appeal and creative concepts behind the artworks, you might discover a slightly different way to enjoy art. Whether you come with family, friends, or on your own, everyone—adults and children alike—is welcome! Come spend a relaxing, art-filled spring afternoon with us.
I create artworks with the same free-flowing, relaxed approach as drawing, using masking tape.

Born in Tokyo in 1981. This artist continues to create freely, unbound by location or materials, producing massive murals using local soil, as well as large-scale installations that incorporate everyday items such as pedestrian crossing materials and masking tape. In recent years, he has also been creating ceramic artworks using soil collected from various locations.
