【Exhibition Concept】
Today, the desire for all things is accelerating in the direction of gigantism, expansion, excess, and talkativeness. Expression is no exception. The theme of this exhibition is to explore the opposite world of these directions. The word “NOTHING” means exactly “NOTHING”. In Japanese, it would be “empty” or “nothingness. This does not mean “nothing exists” or “There is nothing”. The invisible existence is universal and profound, and 17 artists will explore the “being” and “expression” of NOTHING. (Artists’ Comment)
