Born in Tokyo in 1981. Painter. Using a variety of materials such as soil and water, stone and fire, tape and pen, he creates paintings both indoors and outdoors in an
unrestrained manner. On Inujima Island in the Seto Inland Sea, he uses the island’s soil and granite as supports, and creates his works by burning white rubber material
while listening to the energy that resides in the place, from ancient voices to the voices of yesterday. Since 2013, he has been changing his work in a way that allows it to
expand and grow with the aging of nature.
