Kiyotsu is one of the three most beautiful gorges in Japan, created by 16 million years of earth history. Visitors can view the fusion of the beauty of the gorge and art in the 750-meter-long tunnel.

Museum on Echigo-Tsumari, MonET
This is the central facility for the Tokamachi area during the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale. The second exhibition, “Great Snowfield Voyage with Captain MonET,” follows the highly successful “87-Day Square Adventure with Captain MonET”. Miyake Kan "Neutral Person", winner of the grand prize of the Taro Okamoto Award, will also be held at the same time.

Yukimi Gozen dishes, prepared with great care by the village mothers using local rice and vegetables, are not only nutritious but also delicious and satisfying to keep you going strong during the harsh winter months. The dishes are served in traditional lacquerware, which was once used for weddings and funerals in the village and has been treasured and stored carefully.

The center of the Matsudai area for the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale. Enjoy seasonal art and activities at the Field Museum, where the snow is so deep that even the roads disappear.

NUNAGAWA Campus
NUNAGAWA Campus is a “Children's Museum of Five-Sense Experiences,” where visitors can experience art using their five senses, such as touching wood, catching light, and feeling sound, in collaboration with artists. The workshops created by the artists are available only for the “Echigo-Tsumari Art Field Winter 2025” . Workshops are charged separately.
