We are pleased to present a selection of hands-on artworks for children and adults alike, including new artworks for the 2024 Triennale. Many of the artworks are colorful and highly photogenic. Please be sure to take wonderful pictures of your loved ones with each other! Lunch will be a buffet of dishes made with seasonal ingredients and fresh flavors. We will introduce the works including indoor and outdoor, so please enjoy them according to your physical condition and schedule of the day. *Please note that many facilities close at 16:00 in October and November.

An art museum where parents and children can enjoy a full day of fun
[New] Hachi & Seizo Tashima Museum of Picture Book Art
The wooden schoolhouse remaining in Hachi village is used as a spatial picture book museum where the picture book by artist Tajima Seizo is developed. The story of the picture book spreads throughout the school building. Visitors can enjoy original curry that appears in the book, pumpkin ice cream perfect for summer, goats living outdoors, and a biotope. Products from the collaboration between Tajima Seizo and the "speedo" swimwear brand are also on sale.

A 60-minute Satoyama buffet featuring seasonal ingredients
[New]Matsudai "NOHBUTAI" Field Museum
You can enjoy the "Relation–Blackboard Classroom," where they can scribble with chalk all over the room, and the works of Kusama Yayoi, who has a powerful presence in nature, and other artworks that can be walked around. Rice produced by FC Echigo-Tsumari, which is involved in the management of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, is also on sale.

Museums to experience with all five senses
[New]NUNAGAWA Campus“Children's Museum of Five Senses Experience”
A school where children can learn about local values in a practical way has opened a “Children's Museum of Five Senses Experience”. The museum is an experience museum for children to experience with their five senses, such as touching trees, catching light, and feeling sound. It is also the activity base of FC Echigo-Tsumari and features a beautiful lawn. Workshops such as soccer and gymnastics classes are also held from time to time.

Art zoo [Limited Piriod] until 10/6 and surrounding works
James Turrell"House of Light"
The roof slides open to reveal a ceiling that allows you to view the gradually changing light of the sky after sunset. The sky, cut into squares, changes from pale blue to deep blue and then to jet black, making us realize the changes in light that we do not usually pay attention to. Fiber optics are installed throughout the bath, tokonoma (alcove), and bedrooms, and when you soak in the bath, your body is enveloped by the fantastic light. It will be a time to face various lights in the rich nature of Echigo-Tsumari.
[New]Nakago WonderLand–Breath and Rebirth of Animals
A limited-time zoo has been created by artists on the expansive lawn of Nakago Green Park. The unique and humorous animal-themed artworks, as well as workshops, performances, and other audience-participation activities, will be featured. *Open to the public until 10/6

Finally, visit the Museum on Echigo-Tsumari, MonET.
[New] Museum on Echigo-Tsumari, MonET
This is a base facility featuring works by prominent contemporary artists such as Nawa Kohei, Nakatani Michiko, and Me [mé]. A special exhibition "87-Day Square Adventure with Captain Monet" using the entire corridor and courtyard, as well as works by up-and-coming Ukrainian artists will be on display. Many works of art and a limited-time café where you can take a break are now open. At night, the lights are lit up and you can immerse themselves in a serene world view that differs from that of the day.
[New]Akashinoyu
Let's view the artworks at the "Akashinoyu" where the artworks of the special exhibition will also be exhibited. If you have time to spare, please enjoy the Onsen and the night lights after viewing the artworks.
