Kiyotsu is one of the three most beautiful gorges in Japan, created by 16 million years of earth history. Visitors can view the fusion of the beauty of the gorge and art in the 750-meter-long tunnel.
*There is a possibility that the Kiyotsukyo Tunnel may be closed due to heavy snowfall. In that case, we will change the stop to other work.

16:00 Accommodation facility renovated from an abandoned school

Katakuri House Check-in

Katakuri House is an accommodation facility in a renovated wooden school building. The former classrooms have been turned into guest rooms, the principal's office into a hot spring, and the gymnasium into a playable artwork, making it a facility that both adults and children can enjoy. Visitors can also enjoy viewing and experiencing the artwork “Tsumari Sugoroku” by Hara Rintaro and Hara Yu.

Dinner is prepared using a variety of ingredients unique to Akiyamago. These are creative Japanese-style dishes using preserved foods and wisdom unique to a region with heavy snowfall. We cook with sincerity so that our guests can enjoy their precious time.
