9:30 Official Tour Reception
Echigo-Tsumari Art Filed Yuzawa Information Center (Inside Echigo-Yuzawa Station, East Exit Area)
The tour departs from and returns to Echigo-Yuzawa Station. Reception is at the information desk marked with the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale logo, located on the way to the East Exit after passing through the ticket gates. Please note that some stops along the route, especially near artworks, have no restrooms or vending machines after departure. We recommend preparing in advance for your comfort. Please arrive at the reception desk at least 10 minutes before departure.

Attraction #1: Official Guide
The official guidebook introduces the Echigo-Tsumari Art Filed. It covers not only the artworks and exhibitions, but also the lifestyle and charm of Echigo-Tsumari in full detail. Walking with a guide might make your journey even richer and more unforgettable.

Attraction #2: Satoyama Scenery
As the bus rolls along, take in the scenery and fully experience the life of Echigo-Tsumari. The changing colors of the mountains through the seasons, the state of the rice paddies, and the civil engineering structures and buildings unique to heavy snowfall areas—there are plenty of points of interest to observe.

Attraction #3: Let's Go to the Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel
We offer weekly tours that include a stop at the ever-popular "Tunnel of Light" artwork in the Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel. No advance reservations or research needed—just hop on the tour bus. Another perk is that the bus takes you directly to the parking lot closest to the entrance.

You can sense the local way of life and culture within the abandoned schools and vacant houses that serve as artworks. Some artworks invite touch, while others focus on sound. Engage with the artwork not just visually, but through all five senses—let it stimulate both mind and body.

Official Tour lunches will be served at restaurants operated by the Echigo-Tsumari Art Filed. Echigo-Tsumari is renowned as a rice-growing region. Across the vast satoyama landscape, rice paddies coexist with numerous vegetable fields. Savor the seasonal flavors, generously featuring ingredients cultivated by local farmers.

Attraction #6: Official Products & Cafe
At art museums featuring museum shops and cafes, you can spend your free time shopping or taking a break. Enjoy original products featuring redesigned local specialties, artist products inspired by artworks, and cafe menus unique to Echigo-Tsumari.
