The ever-evolving “Golden Playroom” is new again this year. In addition to the nostalgic game machines, slot machines, neon lights, chandeliers, and the Statue of Liberty from Gigaku-men that have been open to the public in the past, a fishing pond, a spinning top arena, and a capsule toy machine are now available.

A work previously shown at Tsunan Junior High School has been updated and shown at Echigo-Tsumari “Kamigo Clove Theatre“. This work can be enjoyed by playing sounds with musical instruments made from farming tools.

You can see the process of creating his past nut works and a group of works that break new ground for the artist, who has been listening to the voices of nuts and expressing the dynamism of life for many years, at the “Hachi & Seizo Tashima Museum of Picture Book Art“.On 5/21 (Sun.), a workshop using nuts will be held with the artist.
