We are contacting those who have passed the first round of screening on an ongoing basis and sending them information regarding the second-round interview. (As of February 4, 2026)

We will be conducting artwork reception for the 10th “Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale,” scheduled to take place in 2027, from Tuesday, November 4, 2025, to Tuesday, November 11, 2025. This year, you may submit proposals for artworks and performances through two categories: Open Proposals and Project Proposals. Additionally, the Project Proposals category includes new formats, such as proposals that utilize existing works.Please refer to the call for entries guidelines and application forms for details.
Regarding the submission of proposals, we will conduct reception of entries via email as well as by mail. We look forward to receiving proposals that understand the spirit of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Field—which has been running since 2000—and make use of the rich resources unique to the Echigo-Tsumari region, including its history, nature, and community connections.

We will be holding a site tour on Saturday, September 13, 2025. This will be a day-trip bus tour, during which we will introduce the specific candidate sites currently under consideration for artwork installations, as well as the core initiatives of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Filed. Additionally, Kitagawa Fram, the Artistic Director, will give a lecture on the 10th edition of the Art Filed.
