The ‘Light’ Found in Echigo-Tsumari from Tokyo
“Light in the Darkness” not only illuminates brightly but also offers insights into regional and societal conditions. Drawing inspiration from the darkness of night, windows, and streetlights, the artist crafts paintings themed around the discoveries found in everyday life. Delving into the “light” encountered on the roads of Echigo-Tsumari from Tokyo, the artist generates new works. The former store space will exhibit roll-paintings composed of various “lights” and themed works related to the store.
