Tanya Badanina

Russia

Born in Nizhny Tagil (Russia) in 1955. She has been creating oil paintings, graphics, and objects on the theme of “white” and “light,” and has exhibited artworks on the subject of wings and white clothing. According to her, “white” expresses mourning, purification of death, and liberation of the soul. In 2013, she held a solo exhibition, “1221 Amor,” at the Venice Biennale. Together with her husband Nasetkin, she is also engaged in various pavilions and interior designs.
