Born in 1958 in Shizuoka. Graduated from Design division of Art Faculty, Tokyo University of the Arts. As a costume artist, she has presented her works in wide range of platforms including advertising, theatre play, contemporary
dance, ballet, film and TV and involved as a costume designer with Kabuki and Opera productions. Changed her artist name from Kodue Naito to Kodue Hibino in 1997. Currently taking charge of stage costumes for “Nihongo de asobo”, a TV program on NHK ETV.
