Born in 1960 in Santiago, Chile. Malig has been based in Paris since 1993. Following a unique nostalgic and poetic style, Malig uses various materials and creates installations which integrate movements of materials, light and sound. Drawing upon her five-year residency in Kyoto learning washi papermaking and traditional Japanese painting, Malig also uses texts for artistic expression which gain
inspiration from haiku.
