From Saturday, January 25th, to Sunday, March 9th, the official tours will run primarily on weekends, offering you the chance to enjoy the unique charms of Echigo-Tsumari in winter. Here are some highlights of the tour!

Just a short trip from Tokyo ! A snow country day trip

In about an hour on the Joetsu Shinkansen from Tokyo Station, you’ll arrive at Echigo-Yuzawa Station, the gateway to Echigo-Tsumari, one of Japan’s heaviest snowfall areas. Enjoy an authentic snow country experience, all in a single day from Tokyo!  

Endless fun in the snow!

At Echigo-Tsumari, a region famous for its heavy snowfalls, enjoy activities like snow tubing and snowball games. Move your body freely in the pristine, white snowfields!  

Homemade winter meals by local mothers

Enjoy traditional winter dishes made with preserved foods prepared from spring to autumn. Villagers put their heart into crafting these meals, beautifully served on traditional lacquerware.  Experience the warmth of local hospitality and the timeless flavors of Japanese home cooking.

Tour Dates: Saturdays from January 25 (Sat) to February 8 (Sat), and weekends / holidays from February 15 (Sat) to March 9 (Sun).  

Tour Price: ¥14,000 per person (high school students and above)  

*Note: ¥15,000 on February 24 (Mon, holiday) only.
