Due to popular demand, we are pleased to announce the official Koshogatsu tour will be held again in 2025! This 3-day/2-night plan is limited to Jan 11 (Sat.)-13 (Mon.), staying and enjoying at Sansho House, a dormitory-type inn that utilizes an abandoned school. Please take advantage of the official tour and enjoy Echigo-Tsumari’s traditional annual winter events.
*Details of the tour will be announced and sales will begin in late November.

1) Enjoy the winter!　Echigo-Tsumari Koshogatsu Tour (3 days/2 nights)

You can experience “Torioi” and “Dondoyaki”, Koshogatsu to celebrate a good harvest in the Sansho district of Matsunoyama. Stay at Sansho House, an Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale lodging facility renovated from an abandoned school, and enjoy the lifestyle of the snow country while interacting with local residents!　In addition to tasting local winter dishes, there will be many hands-on activities such as rice cake pounding and chinchoro making.

2) 【Children 6-15 years only】 Echigo-Tsumari Camp School 2025, Koshogatsu Tour (3 days/2 nights)

Children will stay at Sansho House, an accommodation facility renovated from an abandoned school, and enjoy viewing artworks, playing in the snow, and participating in village events. Let’s experience three days of fun and learning.
