Echigo-Tsumari Art Field Winter 2025

Enjoy Echigo-Tsumari in winter with artwork and activities that take advantage of the charm of snow! Special Exhibition and mini-events are held according to the characteristics of the facilities and artworks. We also recommend the official tour where you will be welcomed with hospitality by mothers and enjoy local cuisine unique to this area of heavy snowfall.

[NUNAGAWA Campus 2025] Winter Museum of Five Sensory Experiences

In addition to the 4 new artworks created the 9th ETAT, workshops by artists will be held at the NUNAGAWA Campus. You can also enjoy winter games such as bubble soccer and gate ball on the snow at the ground.

Snowy Matsudai “NOHBUTAI” Field Museum　

Enjoy the snow and winter satoyama of Echigo-Tsumari, one of the world's heaviest snowfall areas, with all your senses! In addition to new artworks and outdoor artworks, snow tubing and "Snow play ground" will surely warm you up by playing in the satoyama with heavy snowfall!

Museum on Echigo-Tsumari, MonET “Great Snowfield Voyage with Captain MonET”

The Museum on Echigo-Tsumari, MonET presents “Great Snowfield Voyage with Captain MonET,” the second installment of a special exhibition following the highly successful “87-Day Square Adventure with Captain MonET” at the “Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2024”. This is a site-specific special exhibition featuring nine artists from Japan and abroad, including existing artists.
