About the artwork

Over 2,000 ceramic blocks were piled on top of one another, undulating over the 100-meter-long edge of an abandoned terraced rice field. Inspired by the eternal time and organic space of the forests, as well as by the energy rising from the Earth to the heavens, the artist has continued this series since 1994. The visitors walked in the light and shade of ceramic clusters representing the lost harvest of the rice field, which was once covered in snow, filled with water, and sparkled with ears of rice.
