Large indigo-dyed cloths were placed on the exterior walls of six stores and private houses in Matsudai. The cloths, which blend into the landscape, generate a slight slippage, a disjuncture with everyday life. The six pieces include some that the people of Matsudai dyed at a workshop Sato conducted.
