About the artwork

There is this one moment during sunrise when the sun blazes bright red. The artist attempts to draw this scene into our everyday life. Rods and bamboo strips are placed around a handmade red sphere, which represents the sun, expressing the sun rising inside the vacant house. Small red balls are attached to the tips of the bamboo strips so that when they sway with the wind coming in through the window, that bright red moment of sunrise is recreated.
