About the artwork

The artists find something poetic about an unknown person unknowingly being captured in a photograph by chance. Talking to many people who have some form of connection to Tsunan, they asked these people to contribute photographs about the region and observing these anonymous individuals who existed just in one specific moment in the lives of the people who had provided these photographs, the artists imagined stories and backgrounds for these anonymous individuals. By putting together these personal memories through the cooperation of the local community, they created and exhibit a collective memory in Hong Kong House’s gallery space.
