The artist felt that Echigo-Tsumari resembled Pu Li, the place where his grandparents lived. From this memory and based on his experience visiting them, a project of inviting villagers and serving tea was carried out. Tea, in all countries, represents the will to entertain. On the day the artist was leaving for home, the villagers handed him a lunchbox filled with fresh cooked rice. The artist felt as if it was a lunchbox given to him by his grandmother as he left.
