Manifesting a Certain Planet through ‘Music and Peepholes’,” “Clouds of Consciousness
Music echoing from various places, and rain pouring down in a variety of colours. In a landscape of familiar villages visible from countless peepholes, a world of vivid colours that could blind the eyes – there, Matsumoto Akinori, creating sound objects from bamboo, and Matsumoto Michiko, known for works featuring cats, give birth to the fictional planet “Tralis.” A world where a variety of objects that stimulate the imagination gather and spread out.
