This device is made up of an oblique mirror circle turning slowly. The reflecting light coming from the four white lamps pependicular to the mirror spreads on to the surroundings and the visitors. The framing of the intercrossed steel cables surrounded by white neon lamps is defined as a tension between the outside and the revolving mirror zone. This frame fixes the point of impact of the four lamps. Tambour’s seon lines add temseleves to the ones of the train station located right in front. Spectators approching the mirror meet fragmented light reflections. The view at the end of the day is the best. During the night before my departure, while filming Tambour, I was looking at children living in the house right in front coming closer to the device, being touched by the light and then going to bed and taking part to this game once more.
