About the artwork

An installation presented by a group active in the promotion of art and music enjoyed equally by those with or without disability. With the residents of Nakama-no-ie, a welfare facility in Nakanishi, the group interacts through crafts and music, and for one year they met once a month. They attached their art on tapestry made of mosquito nets and cloth scraps. Using 48 glasses they made a glass harp and performed concerts and held workshops with the residents and local people, creating a place where people with different backgrounds could meet.
