About the artwork

This was a participatory project using seven varieties of postcards. Participants wrote postcards to family members, friends, or themselves. The postcards were stored for a time before being delivered to their destinations, beginning from the day after the conclusion of the Triennial. Participants could track the postcards through a website dedicated to the project. Through the experience of Time Difference Letter, participants learned to pay more attention to the flow of time. Beginning in 2006, this is the second Time Difference Letter project.
