A work stands at the end of the road which leads to a campground. The shape reminds us of the semi-cylindrical kamaboko-type (arched) roofs often seen in the region. The dual arches are taken from the strokes that make up the Japanese character for “river” which is contained in the name of the town “Kawansihi” and decorated with colors found in traditional weavings.
