About the artwork

Travelling along a mountain road four pillars engraved with lines from Miyazawa Kenji’s poem “Feast Day”,mark a turning point. Following the signs the visitor finds four clearings amidst a thicket of trees. Buried there are ceramic plates engraved with phrases from the poems,“November 3rd”, “Refractive Index”, “A Son of Moon”, and “A Plateau”.
