The people of Echigo-Tsumari have experienced a devastating earthquake, and in its aftermath, a process of rehabilitation. There was a need to discard their old homes and former way of life, and build a new world with other people. The artist combined this experience with the image of a bride, and prepared wedding costumes from kimono made in Tokamachi to be worn by a couple in an actual marriage ceremony. On August 8, a traditional bridal procession left Nagumo Shrine and arrived at Yuinosato. The procession was participated in by 400 people, including relatives, villagers, visitors and staff. The documentary recording, and the wedding costumes were exhibited in the experiment facility of a former agricultural high school.
