New Developments in Charcoal Sculptures Using Giant Trees from Akiyamago
The artist, who creates charcoal sculptures in the “Flogiston” series by carbonising sculptures, has been developing installations using trees and photographs from Akiyamago since 2022. For this ETAT, the artist installs works made from chestnut logs with large “hollows”.
