Nunagawa Elementary School, which closed in March 2014, is being reborn as a school where students can learn about the value of their local community through hands-on experience. With agriculture as its foundation, the school provides a space to help each student discover their unique strengths through food, daily life, play, and dance. Artworks are displayed both inside and outside the school building, and some classes are open to adults. TSUMARI KITCHEN, supervised by Chef Fumio Yonezawa, is also on site.
