Japan is a country with abundant water. The concept of the work is to express Japan through an experimental “Museum of Water” that brings you in touch with the phenomenological the historical the cultural and biological and political aspects of water. Based upon the research on natural water resources across Japan, labels attached to the experimental glass equipment filled with various water visualise places and their respective characteristics. This will be a site-specific artwork created for the science classroom on Nunagawa Campus. (Excerpts of the artist’s comment)
