About the artwork

Memory of natural stones and production
This exhibition features limestone specimens gathered from Niigata Prefecture, alongside print works meticulously crafted by an artist renowned for utilising natural limestone in printmaking. The motifs intricately depict landscapes, scenery, and flora indigenous to the regions where the limestone originated. Complementing the artwork, a film documenting the production process will accompany the presentation, offering viewers insight into the creative journey behind the pieces.
