In the 3rd ETAT, Nakamura received attention for his artwork which was to transform the abandoned house in Gimyo village into a “Museum with a Whale-shaped Roof” that grew every day. From the 4th festival onward, he developed washi paper with washi craftsman Yamamoto Takahiro in Inubuse village in an attempt to develop a local industry under the “Developing Izawa Washi Project”.
