About the artwork

Wah participated throughout one school term in the art class for second-year students at the Matsudai Junior High School and thought up interesting ideas with the students, some of which, like “Badminton Shuttlecock Dragon” and “Wig on House Roof,” were carried out. During the triennial a record of their activities was on display in an atelier in the Matsudai Shopping Arcade. “Serious” meetings were held everyday at the atelier with neighborhood children who, in the space of a month, created an “Athletic House,” The children’s creative thoughts gave birth to an artwork that drew visitors again and again to romp in it.
