Experience the affection behind the action “Dropping the Lion Cubs” by Lioness
An experiential artwork invites visitors to enter a large bag resembling a giant stuffed animal, crafted from a substantial amount of rice husks and nets. Using a T-shaped rake called a “tombo,” visitors roll down the slope of a ski resort. While it’s challenging to replicate the daring act of “dropping a lion cub” in reality, visitors can trace the path of rice husks spilled from the bag or bury themselves, altering the scenery through their actions. Protected by the warning colour of the tombo, visitors can also relax on rice bags.
