About the artwork

Iwaki Lab. has been developing on-going relations with local people since ETAT2009. They built a large bamboo structure on top of the river terrace near the Kawanishi dam for the ETAT which helped locals discover a new and marvelous view of the landscape they were familiar with. The Lab members built a gently curved larger object for ETAT and even ran “Aramachi Shokudo (dining)” with local people served onigiri and vegetables to visitors.
