About the artwork

“JIKU” is a project series that uses light to express the axis of perspective and history, and the inside of regions that have become invisible due to urban development and topographical changes. This time, the stage is Misashima Station on the Hokuetsu Express Hokuhoku Line, where the preciousness and energy of connecting points will be expressed using the tracks of the Hokuhoku Line, which has created new connections with the region since it opened in 1997. A lighting system installed at the front and rear of the special train will illuminate the straight tunnel in synchronization with the sound. Only those who board the special train will be able to view this interactive exhibit.
