About the artwork

Collaborative project between the university student group and the village of Himizo. The “Himizo Museum” was set up in an abandoned house, where a workshop produced television programs and a virtual convenience store, exhibit of childhood pictures of villagers. The keyword “Children” allowed for artwork that exposed the various features of Himizo. In nearby Yakushido, a Secret Base was made and each family raised a banner with the number of family members and a word that is important to that family. Along with this a stamp rally through the village was held. (Supported by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, “Creative Town Through Culture and Art” program.)
