About the artwork

The theme is a world expanding vertically: “Earth, waterways, ecosystems, and the cosmos.” Various energies radiate from the earth and the universe. Radiation that lights up the sky during earthquakes originates underground, while cosmic rays are generated in the universe by the Birth of Stars and the death of stars—massive explosions (supernovae). Neutrinos are one such particle. Since the birth of the universe until now, vast quantities of cosmic rays have raced across time and space. We cannot tell if the cosmic rays captured by light originated in ancient times or were emitted by the sun. Yet, we are undoubtedly witnessing fragments of time. When sensors detect cosmic rays—over 200 per second passing through the body—the blue LEDs installed inside Kyororo Tower light up, while the red LEDs underwater turn off.It is said that in space, the opposite phenomenon occurs due to the same trigger. We aimed to create a space where the Ground, Water, and Cosmos of Matsunoyama feel as one.

Currently unavailable due to maintenance. We will announce on this page once a schedule for reopening is determined. (As of September 4, 2025)
