Blue beaded flowers carpeted the ground of the beech grove. This grove, called Endayama, is the place where local people rarely visit. At the first workshop, the artist saw the locals sitting on the floor in Japanese style before entering a room and bowing in a courteous manner, and concluded that she would be able to complete her work in this village. At first, she planned to make 20,000 beaded flowers. However, thanks to the devotion of the local people of all 17 households, the number of flowers kept growing, finally reaching 30,000 after two years of work.
