Internationally-acclaimed artist Cai Guo-Qiang brought an abandoned brick “dragon kiln” from his hometown in Fujian Province and transformed it into the Dragon Museum of Contemporary Art (DMoCA). Well-regarded artists have presented their works in this unique space, with Wang Sishun chosen for ETAT2018. The artist, who visited Echigo-Tsumari in winter, got the idea to cover the kiln with yellow flowers. These planted flowers grow amongst other wild plants.
