The grass growing from the truck which is fixed to the ground by wires, are weeds that grew out of soil brought from housing development land in Tokamachi. In this sense, grass and soil have been cut off from the earth where they once belonged. Like the surrounding trees and plants that have developed with the passage of time, in keeping with the laws of nature, weeds have flourished on the soil transported by the truck. But as the soil with its growing weeds was fixed to specific place along with the truck, it stands out from nature. I wanted to link phenomena changing with time, such as life and death, and the sensory categorizing of the nature and the artificial, by having assimilation and dissimilation coexist in a chaotic situation.
