About the artwork

A golden ceramic folding screen creeps undulatingly over the floor. The artist, who created the outside border of the fireplace and the wall of a tatami room on the ground floor, based this work on that experience. Like masterpieces of the Rimpa school painted on sliding and folding doors, the ceramic folding screen brings a new spatial allure to the Tea Room of Wind.
