A traditional Japanese house converted into lodging for “dreaming.” Immerse yourself in the old satoyama lifestyle, sleep in artist-designed pajamas in rooms colored red, blue, green, or purple, and record your dreams the next morning.
Over 2,000 dreams were recorded by guests at The Dream House from 2000 onwards, spanning more than a decade. A carefully selected 100 of these dreams were compiled into a book titled The Book of Dreams and published. This volume includes production records and contributions. It can also be viewed at the Dream House.
