In recent years, the artist has engaged in the creation of the Drawings on Newspaper series. With the exception of some information left untouched by the artist, the newspapers have been covered in graphite, then joined together to create a huge work of art. Visitors standing before the 17-meter-long piece experience an ambivalent sensation as if peering into a timeless galaxy, while simultaneously reading fragments of familiar information. “The piece breaks down the linear perception of time in society, portraying a world in which the past and present coexist. This world where time floats freely between the past and present, with no beginning or end, reveals the challenges faced by humanity, which have unfortunately remained unchanged to this day (comments from the artist).”
