Gifu Media Cosmos, and National Taichung Theater (Taiwan). Major awards granted include Architectural Institute of Japan Prize, Golden Lion for Best National Participation for the Japan Pavilion, and Pritzker Architecture Prize. Launched an initiative called “Ito Juku”in 2011 as a platform to run various projects for considering the future of community and architecture as well as providing learning opportunities to the public. Juku and local residents at Omishima, Imaji-
city in Ehime Prefecture where his own museum stands.
